A message from AIA Spokane Executive Director, Stephanie Aden

To our members,

America’s list of racially motivated murders demand action. Eric Garner. Sandra Bland. Michael Brown. Shantel Davis. Atatiana Jefferson. Laquan McDonald. Tony McDade. Pamela Turner. Korryn Gaines. Trayvon Martin. Tamir Rice. Walter Scott. Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and George Floyd. All murdered, because they happened to be black in the United States of America. There are others, and, sadly, we know there will be more. No words can adequately express the depth of anger, frustration, and national shame for their loss or the more than 1,250 black lives ended by police since January 1, 2015, according to The Washington Post’s database that tracks police shootings.  More

Residential Architect Community

AIA Spokane & Spokane Coeur d'Alene Living magazine will team up again in 2020 to feature five distinctive homes (new or renovated) in six issues in the magazine's Home of Distinction section.

Our latest HOD if featured in the April issue of Spokane Coeur d'Alene Living magazine . Designed by Architects West Inc., the home is located in the beautiful Bella Terra Garden Homes development in south Spokane. Our Residential Press Committee loved the "simple but bold modern forms, with durable, low maintenance exterior materials makes for an exciting and energetic atmosphere around the elegantly designed central garden/water feature."
