Best Preservation Practices for Maintaining Historic Masonry and Wooden Buildings

The Historic Preservation Office and AIA Spokane invite you to a presentation by Mark Liebman of Case Forensics  covering best preservation practices for historic structures. 

A presentation on how our heritage buildings were constructed, what materials were used and how using time-tested maintenance and repair methodologies are often the best solution.  Explores the means and methods of construction of traditional masonry and wooden structures, the causes of structural and material deterioration and how to best address and repair the resultant damage.  Addresses issues concerning sustainability, nondestructive investigative techniques and the value of preservation.
