AIA Spokane's newest Home of Distinction is featured in the April 2020 issue of
Spokane Coeur d'Alene Living magazine. Designed by Architects West Inc., the home is located in the beautiful Bella Terra Garden Homes development in south Spokane. Our Residential Press Committee loved the "simple but bold modern forms, with durable, low maintenance exterior materials makes for an exciting and energetic atmosphere around the elegantly designed central garden/water feature."

Featured in September 2019,  this custom home located in Gozzer Ranch was designed by Wolfe Architectural Group.  "It represents thousands of decisions, and the good custom homes are the ones in which these decisions work perfectly together. With regards to material selection, lot engagement, layout and flow, exterior entertainment space, and an all around pleasant atmosphere, this house stands out.”  The desire for a home that presents as well (and maybe even better) from the back door as it does from the front is a great reason to hire an architect".  HOD Residential Press Committee

The August Issue features a careful and thoughtful renovation in the historic Cannon Hill neighborhood by Uptic Studios. The renovation of this 1940's home focused on increasing floor space for larger family gatherings, simplified palette and materials and increased daylight.

The July issue features a unique home, designed by Copeland Architecture & Construction, with many sustainable design elements, south facing views, park proximity and close to downtown.
