MEMBERSHIP

Incorporated in 1955, AIA Spokane is a local chapter of the American Institute of Architects. With a membership of architects, intern architects, and allied professionals spread across eastern Washington, AIA Spokane serves as the local voice of the architectural profession and the resource for its members in service to society.

ARCHITECT

Architect membership is open to individuals with an architectural license from a US licensing authority.  AIA members adhere to AIA Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct, and strengthen their professional knowledge through continuing education requirements.

ASSOCIATE (or not yet licensed)

Associate membership is open to individuals who meet one of the following criteria: hold a professional degree in architecture; currently work under the supervision of an architect; currently enrolled in the Intern Development Program (IDP) and working toward licensure; or faculty member in a university program in architecture.

CORPORATE ALLIED MEMBERS 

Corporate Allied membership is open to businesses with an interest in showing their support of the built environment.
