AIA Spokane Student Design Competitions

AIA Spokane offers Student Design competitions to showcase the high standards of design and execution from some of the most talented students in our area. Projects submitted by the students are typically displayed at River Park Square in Downtown Spokane for public viewing.

We Have Two Design Competitions for 2017:

Green Cottage Student Design Competition
Create a sustainable cottage for a village located in Spokane Valley, Washington. The village will consist eight cottage units and each unit will be made up of three pre-fabricated modules that can be constructed off-site.

Homeless Shelter Design Competition
Architecture students are invited to submit design ideas for the 2017 AIA Spokane Homeless Shelter Design Competition. In this unique design competition, submitters are asked to design a discreet, compact and efficient shelter for the homeless.
