Role Overview:
Uptic Studios is seeking an experienced Project Architect to lead project documentation, coordination, and client management across a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial work. This role is ideal for an architect with deep technical expertise and proven leadership in project delivery who thrives in a collaborative design environment.
At Uptic, design excellence is matched by disciplined execution. You will guide projects from design development through construction, managing client relationships, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, and ensuring design intent and technical precision are carried through every phase. This position is instrumental in maintaining the quality, clarity, and consistency of our work—both within projects and across the studio.
Responsibilities:
•Lead the documentation, coordination, and technical execution of architectural projects from design development throughconstruction administration.
•Manage client communication, contracts, and project schedules to ensure alignment of scope, budget, and design intent.
•Oversee consultant coordination across disciplines, integrating structural, civil, MEP, and specialty systems into cohesive andbuildable solutions.
•Direct production efforts and quality control for project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and permitting packages.
•Conduct site observations and construction administration to maintain design integrity and resolve field conditions.
•Collaborate with the Senior Project Designer to translate conceptual design into detailed, executable architectural solutions.
•Mentor Job Captains, DIIs, and junior staff, promoting consistent standards for documentation, communication, and project deliverythroughout the studio.
•Support and refine internal workflows to improve project efficiency, coordination, and overall quality.
Qualifications and Experience:
•Architecture licensure is required.
•Minimum 8 years of professional experience in architectural design and project delivery for residential, commercial, or mixed-useprojects.
•Demonstrated ability to lead projects through all phases, from schematic design to construction closeout.
•Strong understanding of building codes, jurisdictional permitting processes, and construction methods.
•Proven experience managing consultant teams and coordinating technical documentation for complex project.
•Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
•Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple active projects concurrently.
Required Technical Proficiency:
•Revit (primary production platform)
•SketchUp for visualization
•Adobe Creative Suite for design development support
•Familiarity with AIA contract documents and standard project delivery methods
Beneficial but not required:
•Morpholio or comparable iPad-based architectural software
•Monograph for project management and resource planning
•Knowledge of energy modeling or sustainability tools

Role Overview:
Uptic Studios is seeking an Architectural Designer I to contribute to design development, documentation, and visualization efforts across a diverse range of project types. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to learn from experienced architects and designers while gaining hands-on experience in every phase of architectural practice.
The Designer I works closely with Job Captains, Project Architects, and the Senior Project Designer to translate design intent into coordinated drawings and models. This role focuses on developing technical proficiency, learning how projects come together, and building the foundation for advancement to Designer II.
Core Responsibilities:
• Support project teams in producing accurate Revit models, drawings, and documentation for design development, permitting, and construction.
• Assist in developing design and presentation materials, including 3D models, renderings, and diagrams.
• Collaborate with Job Captains and Project Architects to ensure design intent is clearly represented and coordinated through all project phases.
• Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and project discussions to understand decision-making and project flow.
• Conduct product, material, and code research to support project design and documentation.
• Help maintain consistent drawing standards, digital file organization, and quality control across projects.
• Contribute to a culture of collaboration and curiosity while seeking guidance and mentorship from senior team members.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture preferred; applicants with an Architectural Technologist degree and strong BIM experience are also encouraged to apply.
• Minimum 1 year of professional architectural experience, ideally in residential or commercial projects.
• Strong foundation in Revit-based documentation and 3D modeling workflows.
• Familiarity with building codes, construction methods, and detailing principles.
• Eagerness to learn, take feedback, and contribute to a collaborative studio environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work within teams and manage time effectively.
• Motivated to grow into Designer II and beyond through continued learning and engagement.
